The Morning After

I define success in my workouts by the level of pain I feel the next day. If I can't feel the results, I know it's time to change things up. Last night's workout took a lot of effort, and today I'm feeling my glutes and hamstrings. Abs are a bit sore, the kind of sore I can tell will be worse tomorrow. Definitely a successful workout!

Weekends are always a challenge for me in diet and fitness. I have 2 or 3 evenings a week where my husband is home, and all I really want to do is sit around with him and eat comfort food and talk. I plan my workouts where my rest day falls during this time, but eating correctly is always a challenge. I'm hoping that keeping a public blog will provide me with the incentive I need to avoid the insane snacking!
